Why KCPOS?

As the business evolved, Moshulu recognised the need for a more integrated EPOS system to keep pace with modern retail demands. That’s where KCPOS stepped in.

Before implementing KCPOS in 2017, Moshulu operated with a less connected infrastructure. Stock would leave head office for stores and effectively disappear from the central system. Without real-time communication between tills and head office, managing stock and reporting was complex and time-consuming.

  • Enable multi-warehouse capabilities within their Pegasus Opera 3 finance system.
  • Connect tills across the store network with head office to improve data flow.
  • Streamline retail operations by bringing all locations into a unified, centralised system.

Moshulu uses KCPOS to enable a “store-to-door” service, where customers can order products in-store that are then shipped directly from head office. This innovative approach ensures every customer has access to the full product range, regardless of store size.

“If a customer tries on a black shoe but wants the red one, we can send it directly from our warehouse. That wouldn’t have been possible before KCPOS,” Harry says.

✅ Data Accessibility & Custom Reporting

Moshulu’s IT team takes full advantage of KCPOS’s open SQL-based architecture. Instead of relying on standard built-in reports, they extract data directly to feed into tools like Grafana, Microsoft Access, and spreadsheets—delivering tailored insights to multiple departments.
