How Does It Work?

As part of The HBP Group, we offer the complete Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP solution, which may be suitable for some businesses. Knowing both Dynamics Business Central and having worked in the retail industry for over 20 years, we have identified an opportunity to integrate the strength of Dynamics 365 Business Central into a purpose-built back office solution, specifically for retail businesses.

This streamlined solution retains all the essential features of full Dynamics Business Central — including financials, sales management, stock, purchasing and eCommerce integration — but it is customised specifically for the needs of retail businesses. The configuration choices and available functionality has been built with best practice in mind, to improve your retail operations. This also means we can implement KC 365 within a smaller project timeframe, aligning perfectly with your EPOS solution launch, rather than undertaking a full-scale Business Central project (and incurring the costs associated with a project of that size).

Everything you need to manage your finances including, full chart of accounts, GL Budgets, monthly stock adjustments methord, item journals, VAT returns, standard finanical statements and bank reconcilliation.

Sales

You can manage your sales invoicing and sales orders through Business Central, along with setting up payment reminders as standard and you will also have a pre-set document designs that can be used as standard.

Stock

Powerful stock management which includes special pricing management for promotions, customer-specific pricing and category-specific pricing. Set up units of measure, attributes, warehouse locations, set your costing method (FIFO etc.) and stock barcoding.

Purchasing

Set up replenishment purchasing wih basic lead times, max and min orders, multiple vendors and standard document designs. Set up standard authorisation processes for purchase orders, purchase quotes, purchase invoices, purchase credits and purchase returns.

eCommerce

Link directly to your Shopify site from Business Central to manage stock, unify sales data and automate the flow of data between both platforms. With all financial transactions recorded in one system, financial reporting becomes more straightforward and robust.

Reporting

Pull key operational information together with comprehensive reporting on upto 5 global dimensions. This allows for segmenting financial data across two key variables, such as department and product line, or market and service type.
