If you’re a KCPOS customer, you may already be familiar with our support team. They’re not squirrelled away in the back of our office, instead they’re a key part of the wider team – helping our customers solve their problems or queries quickly and using their expertise to help us grow and develop our products.
Our team are at the centre of everything we do and they are the key to our success. We’ve built a team that have a breadth of experience from all sorts of different backgrounds and industries. As a result, we’ve got an experienced and dedicated team who support us with the best ideas and support our customers with the best service.
It’s always nice to put a face to the name, so we wanted to tell you a little bit more about our support team, so you can learn more about who they are and their roles.
Meet The KCPOS Support Team
Before joining KCPOS, Lawrence worked as a Support Analyst for News UK, so he brought plenty of experience and knowledge with him. He joined our team when he decided he wanted a new challenge and to join a business that could help him advance his technical knowledge.
Lawrence has had the opportunity to forge some great relationships with our customers and they’ve become a key highlight for him within his role.
If you asked him what his favourite attraction type is, he’d tell you hands-down it would be zoo’s. If he wasn’t working with us here at KCPOS, you might of seen him on your TV screens, as he did some training to become a professional wrestler when he was 18 and it’s remained a passion of his ever since.
Loïc has a wide range of skills, having worked in the insurance industry, at Peterborough hospital and in IT before he began his journey with us here at KCPOS. When he decided he wanted a role that could support his development, he chose us here at KCPOS because of the learning and development opportunities – and we’re so pleased to have him onboard.
As well as having the opportunity to meet and speak with customers every day, Loïc has loved building on his technical and product knowledge. In true varied fashion, he loves all sorts of attractions and couldn’t possibly choose just one. When he can, he likes heading out to theme parks, zoos, motor sport events and museums.
If you want to see Loïc in action doing something he loves, you can watch him score a winning try on YouTube if you look up: Loïc Lamy.
Liam has spent many years on service desks, so no one knows support quite like him. When he decided he wanted to advance his technical skills beyond service desks, he joined our expert team.
New to the journey here at KCPOS, Liam says the team are really nice and relaxed, so his transition into the business has been effortless.
Outside of work, Liam has two turtles: Walt and Olive, so it’s no surprise that his favourite attraction type is a day out to a zoo (we’re noticing a pattern here…)
Before joining KCPOS, Alex was a Service Desk Analyst at CDW and Associated British Foods and whilst he loved his time there and building up his skills and knowledge, his natural next step was to join a business like ours where he could take on a more technical role.
Alex says his journey so far has been amazing and the team he works with makes his job ten times better – we may be bias, but we’d have to agree and we can certainly see why.
Alex is our resident thrill seeker, so when he makes his way to an attraction it will always be a theme park. In keeping with the exotic-animals-for-pets, Alex has a pet snake at home, called Puzzles. I can’t see us doing a “bring your pet to work day” anytime soon.
Next up, meet Zack. Zack also worked at CDW and Associated British Foods before he joined KCPOS.
Looking for a role where he could make a difference to the working lives of customers, he joined our team and says he’s been rewarded with the love of his job ever since.
We’re not all work and no play at Kamarin and we have two annual social events every year. Zack says one of his proudest achievements so far has been the fact he’s been the last man standing at both year-end events – quite an achievement!
When Zack thinks of attractions, it’s always water parks that spring to mind first. His favourite are the ones in Disney Florida – lucky Zack! Outside of work and water parks, Zack loves a game of bowls and has been part of the Northamptonshire County Bowls team for about 5 years now.
If variety is the spice of life, then Ayden knows this very well. Before joining Kamarin, Ayden had a super varied background. From working in convenience stores, to KFC, Ayden’s first role after completing college was an IT-focused role in a bar, then he went on to data entry at Hobart.
When Ayden decided he wanted re-skill, he took advantage of the government Kickstarter programme. Thinking he’d join our team to gain skills that would help him seek further employment, he joined the business and loved it so much he stayed – and he hasn’t looked back since.
When it comes to attractions, it doesn’t matter where Ayden is as long as they have arcade games (and if the top prize is headphones, then he’s on to a winner).
So there you have it, just some of our growing KCPOS support team that you may come across when dealing with us. Make sure you say hi to them when you’re next on the phone and even tell them a fun fact about you too!
